NUL INCUBATED "HEALTHILY BAKED" COMPANY LAUNCHES BOHLALE PRODUCTS

It turns out Basotho have a loooong love affair with sorghum (mabele)! Yet the company being incubated at the National University of Lesotho (NUL) is taking the taste of mabele to the next level! Last week, the company, Healthily Baked Pty Ltd, launched mabele products—biscuits, rusks and muffins—which are ready to hit the local shelves!

NUL IS AWARDED A BIG PRIZE AT BIE-COSMOS EXPO 2017 IN KAZAKHSTAN

The National University of Lesotho (NUL) made headlines again! This time in Kazakhstan! That is where it beat tens of scientific institutions from all over the world to be the sole winner of a prize in the area of “Future Energy.” NUL demonstrated an innovative unconventional solar energy system that clearly caught everyone by surprise, said Mr Anadola T’siu (+266 58851721), the thinker behind the system.

NUL GRADUATE SHARES HER STUDY OF STUTTERERING (LEHOELEA)

Stuttering is a common speech disorder that we rarely talk about. So Maky Bridget Letsie, the National University of Lesotho (NUL) graduate says she has always been fascinated by why people stutter. As a student at the NUL, she wanted to closely understand stutterers so she could educate people to treat them with respect. In her research, she made captivating observations about stuttering which she said is often defined as, “a speech disorder in which the flow of speech is involuntary repetitions and prolongations of sounds, syllables, words and phrases.”
