The quality of air within the Roma Valley may not be as good as you think, says the quiet and shy Malefatsane Ramphalile, who, like most of his fellow scientists, is the definition of an inquisitive soul. A student of the National University of Lesotho (NUL), he has just finished his study in which he used extremely sensitive scientific equipment to assess air quality within one location at the NUL.
He was supervised by two Chemistry gurus, Dr TebelloMahamo and Professor Heilmichael Alemu.
NUL INNOVATION HUB UNVEILS SORGHUM MUESLI
It is, perhaps, the only muesli of its kind in the region. Traditional flavour, healthy, convenient and tasty, it is meant to celebrate Basotho’s love for sorghum (mabele lumela! Ueeena mabele!). And it is arguably the best way to start your day.
The company that produces the muesli is under the National University of Lesotho (NUL) Innovation Hub and its products go by the trade name “Bohlokoa.” It is led by ‘Matokelo Nthejane and Moliehi Mohapinyane under the the supervision of Dr Pulane Nkhabutlane.

EX-NUL STUDENT WHO MAKES GOOD BAGS
She makes bags—she makes good bags. Her bags are classy, unique, and they are deliberately infused with a local taste. “When I make a bag, I make sure that there is often no question where it was made. There must be something that says, "made in Lesotho,” says the passionate National University of Lesotho (NUL) educated Rethabile Matela.
For that she uses a tweak of Seshoeshoe fabric, or something traditional, in most bags. Plus there are few fabrics that are more associated with Lesotho and Basotho than Seshoeshoe fabric.
